🌴 Toa Luau - Evening Show

Taking place at Waimea Valley on Oahu's North Shore, Toa Luau invites you to experience a traditional Hawaiian luau feast with delicious foods and great live musical entertainment. What makes this luau unique is that it's situated in a lush tropical garden. Best of all, all luau guests receive free admission to the botanical garden, so arrive early to enjoy a nature stroll through this tropical paradise. If you wish, you can even enjoy a refreshing swim at Waimea Falls, located within the garden (weather permitting). Alternatively, you can use your Waimea Valley access pass on another day of your choice during the week before or the week after your luau. Just remember, it's valid for a single garden entry only.

Toa Luau Seating:
Seating is at tables that seat up to 10 guests. Tables are pre-assigned and you will receive your table number at check-in.
Silver seating: Back row on upper level. Bar height seats for better view. May not be ideal for elderly or very young children.
Gold seating: Front row on upper level. Regular height seats and tables. 
VIP seating: ALL 3 rows on bottom level. Regular height seats and tables.

A meal of mixed vegetables can be created for vegetarians. Please notate vegetarian meal request next to name at time of booking. Guests with gluten requirements can eat most things on the buffet except the cake, macaroni salad and bread rolls.

  • Where and When:

    Check-in for the luau begins at 4:50 pm. The luau starts at 5:00 pm and ends at approximately 8:00 pm.
    Parking at the Valley is $2.

    Driving Directions:

    If you decide to hike up to Waimea Falls before the luau starts, please give yourself at least 2-3 hours before luau check-in to hike and swim.
    Your luau ticket includes access to Waimea Valley botanical garden and can be used on one day of your choice during the week before or the week after your luau. Waimea Valley hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
    Please note: Waimea Botanical Garden and Falls is closed on Mondays all year except the summer months, which is June to August. Despite this, Monday luaus take place all year round. On Mondays, gates will open 30 minutes prior to check-in time for Toa Luau guests only.
    Operating hours for Waimea Botanical Garden and Falls are subject to change and are independent of the luau schedule. If you would like to visit the botanical garden and waterfall on the same day prior to the luau and would like to make sure the botanical garden and waterfall are open on the day of your visit, please give us a call to confirm. If the garden is closed on the day of your luau, you can still return to hike or visit the waterfall any day from Tuesday to Sunday free of charge using this luau confirmation. Your Waimea Valley access pass is valid for 7 days before and after your luau.

    There are no specific restrictions for this activity.

  • Special Notes:

    Waimea Valley admission is included. Prior to the luau festivities, guests can take a walk on a paved path through the botanical garden and walk to Waimea waterfall. The walk is 1.5 miles round trip. If you like to experience the valley without hiking, there is a golf cart shuttle offered at $10 /person roundtrip at the valley entrance.

    Swimming at Waimea Falls depends on daily waterfall conditions. Lifeguards assess the safety each day and make the swim call at 9:00 am. For the latest swimming status, you can call (808) 638-7766.
    Changing rooms are conveniently located near the waterfall for your use.

    Operating hours for Waimea Botanical Garden and Falls are subject to change and are independent of the luau schedule. If you would like to visit the botanical garden and waterfall prior to the luau and would like to make sure the botanical garden and waterfall are open on the day of your visit, please give us a call to confirm.
